About Us - What is the Human Resource Management Association of North Central Pennsylvania?
The Human Resource Management Association of North Central (HRMANCPA),
is a local chapter affiliated with the national Society for Human Resource
Management (SHRM). SHRM National is a world-wide professional association
of human resource professionals with more than 95,000 members and more
than 430 chapters in all 50 states. SHRM also serves members in 55 countries.
Our goal is to serve as the leading voice in the North Central Region of
Pennsylvania for the development of Human Resource professionals at all
levels, as well as small businesses that don’t have the benefit of
a professional HR staff. We schedule monthly meetings, September through
May, to meet and exchange ideas, to hear professional speakers address
relevant topics, to exchange information on pending legislation that may
impact your business and provide the opportunity to network with other
HR professionals.
